Proposed 5 Story building for the Science Section by our very own prestigious Old boy Dr. Jagath Alwis – Rs. 450 Million
MoU was singed on 3rd August 2022, between Dr. Jagath Alwis and the Ministry of Education for the proposed building sponsored by Dr Jagath Alwis. Signed on behalf of the Education Ministry was Mr. Srilal Nonis Director of Education. The total cost of the project re-estimated at present is Rs 450 million.
12 Smart Boards were given to Class rooms – Rs. 5.5 Million
Due to extended COVID-19 situation and the country’s financial crisis, college decided that smart boards are need to teach the advanced level students. Therefore OBA came forward to accommodate the requirement.

Repair & Restoration of College Bus – Rs. 2.3 Million
In 2015/16 college bus was declared as beyond repairable and costly by the college authorities at that time. Under the guidance of Principal Mr. Oshara Panditharatne OBA took the initiative to repair and restoration of the bus back again in 2022.
Sound System to the Media Unit - Rs. 388,000
Sponsored for much needed sound mixer system to college media unit.
Principals’ Quarters – Rs. 6 Million
In close collaboration with education ministry OBA took the initiative to build the much needed principal’s quarters, This is a fully equipped quarters which cost around Rs. 6 million.
Donation of Instruments to Junior Western Band - Rs. 861,000
As a fresh concept of Principal Mr. Oshara Panditharatne, college formed a junior band to support of the senior cadet band. On request of the principal, OBA donated much needed instruments to start the practices.
